I am writing a review for both the plumbing team led by Richard Shank as well as the hvac team led by Brooks Bennett. Richard and Jeremy replaced all of our water pipes as well as installed a new tankless water heater. They were very courteous and did an excellent job. Any time we had questions, they were willing to answer and to help with whatever concerns we had. They did an excellent job. Brooks came out the next day to clean the coils on our HVAC. He was very efficient and got the job done really quick. He, also, checked into possible damage on our air ducts close to the unit from an animal and reassured us all looked fine. He was so friendly and didn't rush off. We were his last stop, so you would think he would want to hurry off to get home, but he didn't seem to be in any hurry and visited with us for a while. He was very knowledgeable and kind. You have some wonderful employees. Vince came early to discuss the need for new water pipes and cleaning the HVAC. Paul Watson came earlier to perform the maintenance on both the HVAC and the other unit and did a great job, too. Pioneer is a great company you can trust. Thanks!

It is normal for your sump pump to run continuously. Sump pumps run, or “kick on,” as they are needed. So, if you notice it seems like your pump is running all of the time, there is a reason for it. It’s important to note though, if you suspect your sump pump is running more than necessary, or any time you notice any abnormal behavior from your pump, call Pioneer Heating, Cooling & Plumbing to have it serviced. You can never be too cautious!
No, your sump pump will most likely not work if the power is out in your home. Most sump pumps require electrical power to operate. You can however, install certain devices like a battery backup unit which will operate a secondary pump using battery power.
Yes, you will periodically need to clean your sump pump. While sump pumps don’t have filters, you will still need to clean their openings or screens from time to time – at least every few months. Additionally, if necessary, you may need to oil the pump’s parts. It’s important to have an expert at Pioneer Heating, Cooling & Plumbing perform yearly maintenance on your sump pump as well. At this time, they will be happy to help clean your sump pump, as well.
