I was extremely disappointed in Pioneer Service staff. The first repairman who came out did not have the proper equipment to fix my water heater. The second repairman who came out did not know how to operate the equipment and had to call someone to get ...directions to operate the equipment. The quotes they gave me were what I thought were extremely high so I texted them to say I was going to get a second opinion rather than have them come out next week to repair the water heater. In return they called me back and stated that they could not repaired my water heater they were too busy. I did get a second wrote and it was $300 cheaper than what they quoted me. I would not recommend this company nor will I ever call them for service again. Incompetent help and then when you do not agree with what they tell you they leave you high and dry. For 10 years we have used Pioneer and been under contract with them. Bought new units. Exceptional quality until 2022. June 2024 was the last time. Our AC was out - they sent a tech that did a great job - came was professional and diagnosed. Craig Edmond was my technician and he was awesome. He got the unit up and running in a about an hour and a half. He even found a pipe leak in the basement. They started trying to sell me a new unit almost immediately. He said, oh these older Carriers were not very good and most people have already replaced them”. So I suspected then how it would go and was not disappointed. He said I was low on ...refrigerant and said I could just top it off, replace the coil or replace the whole unit. Replacing the coil would be around $4k. He advised just topping it off and I said ok. Great. Later that day it was apparent that the problem was not fixed. I called the office and was informed that the tech had warned me that there was a leak and this was all MY fault. The operator actually told me that it was like my car had a leak and I decided to just let it go. Call somebody else if you need hvac service.Read More...

We are Preferred Customers who pay extra to receive priority service year round and a 10% discount on all parts and labor. When I called to schedule a service visit, the office receptionist told me that no service techs were available Friday, Sat or ...Sunday and would I like to cancel my maintenance visit for Monday??? I told her that we were Gold Maintenance Agreement subscribers and that we paid extra for priority service. She said that no service techs were available to help us Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. I asked to talk to someone higher up and she connected me with the dispatcher. Same story, no one was available to service our unit. It gets worse. When the tech arrived on Monday, June 17 for our previously scheduled preventive maintenance visit, he said that he could not diagnose or repair our system, but he could do preventive maintenance. If we needed service, we’d have to call and schedule that.
